The mission of the Alumni Association is to serve as a hub to connect and channel resources from the alumni to their Alma Mater.The association creates opportunities for the alumni by building and strengthening a network of alumni worldwide, and serving as an outlet to showcase alumni accomplishments.By taping into the vast resources of intellect and talent available, we strive to create an alumni experience that will last a lifetime.The commitment and dedication of the alumni towards the School has materialized in several forms
The alumni in an attempt to revitalize the School have already walked a few steps ahead which include making contributions towards
- A fully air-conditioned seminar hall – ‘The Hall of Fame’ with a seating capacity of hundred is the latest addition to the spectrum. This was fully funded by the alumni, which now acts as a discussion ground for the students with the eminent industry personalities.
- Funding the refurnishing the classes in accordance with the new requirements so that a bright future is molded in a better way.
Stimulating continued interest in and intelletual support for the School which include
- A personality-training course lead by the famous Mr Anand Kasturi is organized yearly for the final year students, which familiarizes them with etiquettes and manners in the business arena.
- Providing guest speaker for campus events and seminars.
- Participating in mock interviews as an interviewer for the co-op program
- Organizing various talks, seminars and panel discussions by industry experts on topics of relevance to the students.
- Advise student project teams, participate in class sessions as visiting executives, and help launch graduates into their careers.
The experience of the older generation meets dynamism of the new generation through
- La Nostalgia’ the grand annual alumni meet and foundation day of the alumni association. This is celebrated annually and is the platform where the nostalgic memories are brought alive.
- On January 26th - The Republic Day, the spirit of freedom is further reinforced through ‘The Remembrance Cup’ match. The University Stadium acts as the battlefield where sparks are unplugged when the alumni and the students test their batting and bowling skills against each other.
As volunteers, you can determine the shape and form of your contribution depending on your availability. We open doors for you to give back with a personal touch. The destiny of the nation is decided in the classroom of educational institution and therefore it becomes necessary to be realized that sooner the better.
